Founded in 1974, the Dominion of Myrkfaelinn is the Ithaca-based chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA), a 50-year-old, not-for-profit, educational organization dedicated to studying and recreating the best aspects of the Middle Ages and Renaissance!
We invite you to join us in exploring medieval cultures during our weekly educational meetings and presentations.
We also hold regular weekly practices as well as day-long events for a more immersive experience. In most cases, we have loaner gear and garb so that you can test the waters of the SCA before jumping in.
Myrkfaelinn includes the areas of Ithaca, Elmira, and Corning, New York. We are part of the SCA Kingdom of Æthelmearc.
See our list of activities for the many things our members enjoy at our regular meetings and practices.
