Many of our members enjoy cooking medieval food, especially after learning how to redact recipes from the Middle Ages. (Redacting means figuring our general cooking instructions and converting them to modern cooking temperatures, durations, and ingredients when necessary.)
Maedbh has been leading a redaction challenge for the past few months, with a number of people participating in making their version of a specific dish. All who attend the meeting where the cooks present their results then get to taste the food and decide which version they prefer.
