After a hiatus, thrown weapons practice will return in 2025, with details to be announced in our meetings page.
These meetings run from late spring to early fall. Our marshal is River, who oversees the range for safety and assists throwers with improving their skills.
Thrown weapons include knives, axes, and spears. A standard target butt consists of a cross-sectioned tree positioned on a wooden stand. The butt has painted circles for scoring.
Some loaner equipment is available for use during practices.
We follow strict rules during thrown weapon practices and events in order to create an environment as safe as possible.
