Thrown Weapons

During late spring through mid-fall, we hold thrown weapon practice every Monday from 6pm until dark at the Etna playground, subject to the availability of a range marshal, and weather permitting.

These meetings run from late spring to early fall.

Thrown weapons include knives, axes, and spears. A standard target butt consists of a cross-sectioned tree positioned on a wooden stand. The butt has painted circles for scoring.

Some loaner equipment is available for use during practices.

We follow strict rules during thrown weapon practices and events in order to create an environment as safe as possible.
