Hrólfr á Fjárfelli

The Honorable Lord Hrólfr serves the Dominion as exchequer, chatelain, and archery marshal.

Recently he was inducted into the order of the Fleur d’Æthelmearc for his work in Viking-Age textiles and fiber arts and was chosen as Kingdom Arts & Sciences co-champion for his weaving and stand-up Viking-Age loom.

Hrólfr also enjoys target archery and many arts and sciences besides weaving and tablet weaving, especially woodworking.

Hrólfr á Fjárfelli is a late-10th-century Viking who likes to entertain himself during the long winters between raids with woodworking, warp-weighted loom weaving, and tablet
weaving.

See his blog Of Warp and Weft or his Academia page for much more detail about his weaving interests and project documentation.

Hrólfr recently taught his first class on tablet weaving, in this case brocading, making a half-dozen warp-weighted tablet weaving looms that he warped ahead of time. See his basic beginner brocading class handout or Basic Beginner Brocading (with videos) for details.
