Please join the Dominion at the Tioga County Fairgrounds (53 Elm St., Owego, NY 13827) for our annual Myrkfaelinn Summer War Practice, June 13 -15. Site opens at 6 pm on Friday the 13th for camping and closes at noon on June 15th.
There will be fencing, cut & thrust, heavy combat, rebated steel, archery, and thrown weapons. There will be an A&S gathering and of course bardic around the campfire in the evening!
Attention Fencers! This event will include the Queen’s Rapier Championship tournament for Queen Ríoghnach ní Rose. Come and compete for her favor on Saturday June 14!
Calling all artisans! Sign up for Myrkfaelinn’s first conspicuous crafting area! Modeled after the Crafters Green idea at Pennsic, conspicuous crafting will allow you to work on your chosen craft publicly. Share your stitching with bystanders! Or simply work on your current project in a communal, convivial setting with other artisans. There is no obligation to teach people any hands-on skills or to offer make-and-takes, just an expectation to share your enthusiasm for medieval crafting. Electricity is available, water is nearby but must be carried. We have a limited number of tables available that we can provide. Sign up here to reserve a table.
Merchants are welcome! A silent auction will also be held.
DayBoard will be coordinated by Lady Catherine Wyldehart ( Kathryn MacQueen). Please call/text her at (808) 343-7333 or email Millerlkme01@gmail.com with dietary restrictions or allergies.
