From our recent War Practice event, as announced in the official court report, the following Dominionites were recognized for their skills and service:
Their Majesties summoned Lady Catherine Wyldehart before them, and noted that they were doing business early so she could continue to work in the kitchen uninterrupted in the evening. But they did not want to talk about her cooking. Instead, they spoke of her growing prowess and teaching on the Chivalric field, so inducted her into the Order of the Golden Alce.
But they were not finished with Lady Catherine Wyldehart. Sometimes, people are ready for multiple things at the same time. Their Majesties also noted that in addition to her cooking, she also created garb, fixed armor, and did much more, so they also inducted her in to the Order of the Keystone.
Mary of Meadowcroft was the winner of the archery competition. She was also the winner of the special prize for shooting clout. She will receive a belt made by Master Hrolfr a Fjarfelli.
Helena Mutzhasen, Silver Buccle Herald, interrupted court, needing to speak with one of the many heralds in Æthelmearc. In fact, the need was so great, Helena’s predecessor as Silver Buccle, lærifaðir jǫrundr hinn rotinn, also needed to be present. The work of the herald in question began before either of their tenure. Helena and jorundr asked Mistress Gytha Oggsdottir to attend them, and Helena used her position as a Kingdom Principal Herald to name Gytha a Herald Extraordinary for the decades of Silent Heraldry Gytha has provided.
Their Majesties called forth Alaric Northwind, noting how he started chivalric fighting and was finding a home in our Society, so awarded him Arms.
Next, Their Majesties sought Brynhildr the Bloody, noting her increased participation in the society, also on the chivalric fighting field, and particularly creating a beautiful fighting kit, and so awarded her Arms.
Their Majesties called forth Daffodil of Myrkfaelinn, whose ingenuity and ability to reverse-engineer armor to get more people involved as well as growing combat skill moved them to award him Arms.
Their Majesties called before them Marian Revontulet of Cadair Idris, also known as Rachel, whose service and fighting was fit in around much education and travel. She was awarded Arms.
Their Majesties sought out Rüdiger von Gévaudan. They noted how he jumped into our Society and started repairing armor and in general, being helpful; they awarded him Arms.
Their Majesties then called forth Zechariah Ebeonhawke, who also has become a stalwart force in Myrkfaelinn, not only fighting, but creating a beautiful kit. They were moved to award him Arms.
Their Majesties then noted a name that kept popping up as having calligraphed many scrolls. They sought Armiger Uracca Beatriz Botelho, and inducted them into the Order of the Sycamore for their growing scribal skill.
Numerous scrolls were illuminated by Mistress Cristina inghean Ghriogair and supplied with words and calligraphy by Armiger Uracca Beatriz Botelho.
